Duality is an exhibition that features painting and sculpture by AL

In the life and art of AL you will always find what is between down and up, the essence of duality, duality meaning double, cut in two or in between. What duality do you see? Questions about language? Dreams? War? Life? Religion? Sexuality? So, instead of being a part of any specific group or belonging or even being sure of anything, AL constantly work in layers, which are not layers of colour but layers of life. In layers – like how life is created every day.

The artist will host an opening on the 25th of April 17-21pm!

AL Dwihan (b.1989) is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Sweden, originating from Yemen. He has exhibited in Ödeshögs Konstförening, Sweden (2024), Teater Tribunalen, Stockholm (2024). He has been educated in Stockholms konstskola and Konst- och Kulturakademin.
