In tactile play with objects, moving image and sound, dance artist Vilma Mankonen explores the movement that makes space to feel at home.

How would you describe the movement in a space you love?

In tactile play with objects, moving image and sound, dance artist Vilma Mankonen explores the movement that makes space to feel at home. You are welcome to read and get to know the room the way you wish. The exhibition is a collaborative effort with artists Martin Sieweke, Oona Pennanen and Sofia Keto-Tokoi.

Vilma Mankonen, dance artist (they/she):

"As a dancer and maker I am endlessly fascinated how different environments, spaces and faces organize and move bodies. As I read, dance and write, I am directing my attention towards leaky waters of carefully constructed selves, habits, expectations and senses of control."
