What happens to artists as they age? What could communal care for ageing artists look like? On 21 April, 18-20:00, Jenny Richards and Ulrika Flink will hold a conversation together with the artist Lisa Stålspets, whose three-part novel A Home for Artists is the starting point of the conversation. The novel is about a retirement home for ageing artists in which a young artist Iris works as a care assistant and takes care of the different people who live there.

We will begin the event with a reading of 'A Home for Artists' by Lisa Stålspets, followed by a discussion about the current conditions of ageing for artists, and what our collective desires of care might be. Welcome!

The talk will be held online via Zoom.
