Palestine Prints fundraiser - special edition prints from the "department of Unruly histories", 250 SEK.

The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, on November 29th, is our prompt for gathering in a space where both grief and celebration are welcome, as we take the time to actively solidstand in solidarity with Palestinians. Despite the cultural, political and economically fragile situation the art sector in Europe currently faces, collaborations have been key for the continuity of art.

It is not different in this case: In Solidarity is a joint effort of Cinema Queer, Konsthall C, Kafé Mix/höjden studios, MDT Moderna Dansteatern, Mint and Reading Edge. Through multiple events in different locations in Stockholm, we continue our affirmations of the Palestinian people's right to liberation, dignity, justice and peace. All proceeds from the events, including ticket sales, donations and art auction sales, will go toward Palestinian solidarity efforts via Palestinagrupperna.

Special edition prints from the "department of Unruly histories" archive "department of Unruly histories" (DUH) is a project initiated by artist Meera Shakti Osborne in 2019 consisting of a collective sonic and material archive built on post-colonial migration stories in London. Participants choose which histories they would like to record, including sound pieces and visual publications that range from conversational to experimental. Archives are, by their nature, unruly–a quality encouraged throughout the process. The work takes on many forms, all emanating from ten audio pieces that document histories of a London that is familiar to many. DUH was exhibited across ten satellite sites in London, alongside a central exhibition which took place at Cubitt Artists in spring 2023 which featured the prints. Special thanks to Page Masters (UK) who donated their riso printer and time to make these prints available.
